Light, health and dreams – holiday wishes from Bulgarians in the UK

On the eve of the Christmas holidays and just days before the arrival of 2026, Radio Bulgaria received an audio greeting filled with heartfelt wishes from fellow Bulgarians living and working in the United Kingdom.

Grigor Grigorov – chairman of the United Bulgarian Schools (UBS) and co-founder of the Bulgarian Sunday Schools “Bukvaran” – addressed Radio Bulgaria’s listeners, wishing them health, success, and that their dreams come true. He highlighted the importance of Radio Bulgaria as a bridge connecting Bulgarians around the world and wished every Bulgarian family a happy and blessed 2026.

Lyudmila Yunakova, Business Owner at Bukvaran United Community Schools in London, Manchester and Liverpool – also sends a warm Christmas message to our audience and team. She reminds us that the most important thing is what we do for others and wishes that the light of Christmas illuminates our path forward.
